Domestic Violence Prevention

Abusive relationships and dating violence are more common than people realize, and the first step in breaking the generational cycle of violence is destigmatizing the issue of domestic abuse. Since 2018, Portola's Domestic Violence Prevention club has worked to educate our peers on developing healthy relationships, recognizing signs of abuse, and being able to help loved ones in need. Club members also collect donations and volunteer with Laura's House, a domestic violence prevention agency in OC. Joining this club gives you the opportunity to advocate for a deep-rooted social issue and spark real change in your community.
